This series is due to be released in March/April 2010 and is designed to coincide with the World Cup in June/July 2010. All of the figures will be painted in their respective home club kit so the appeal of the series extends beyond the limited time span of the World Cup. The packaging will be designed to take advantage of the increased national team football interest. The line up has also been designed to feature the big stars from the nations competing as well as at least one figure from as many of the nations competing as our club licenses allow. New models include Toure, Iniesta, Xavi and Alves (Barcelona), Bendtner (Arsenal), Aquilani and Agger (Liverpool), Santa Cruz (Manchester City) and Piennar (Everton).

This series also sees a major departure from the past in that the single figure packs will be available in a non-confectionery sachet. These will be made available to consumers to purchase direct from Corinthian via the MicorStars website.

Triple pack confectionery boxes will be made available, as always, direct from Corinthian via the MicroStars website as well as other retail outlets. These will continue to come complete with jelly beans and one guaranteed Gold base MicroStar. Please note if you are an overseas customer the jelly beans will be removed. There are NO exclusive figures in the triple packs. All 40 figures with green to black bases will be available in the sachet packs as well as the triple packs.
